Print, share a PDF or keep an editable design?

Open the paper editor to choose one of these actions. A template link opens the layout only; it does not transfer your private text or photos. Browser storage alone is not a backup.
1. Choose a template
Start with one of 16 layouts across ruled paper, mixed notes, community flyers and everyday stationery. Adjust spacing on lined, graph and dot paper. Handwriting guides include English lines, Chinese cross and diagonal grids, Pinyin, Japanese kana/kanji squares and Hangul squares. Enter one character per row, then choose model, tracing and blank practice. Pinyin readings are optional and entered manually, one per line in character order. Music & notes and Grid & notes let you change the section split. Cornell notes offer an adjustable cue column; the daily planner offers workday, full-day, blank and custom schedules.
2. Edit your content
On a phone, fill in the Edit content form and switch to Preview paper to review the result. On desktop, click a title, tear-off strip or section heading to type in place. Enter finishes, Shift+Enter adds a line and Escape cancels the current edit. Repeated tabs and two-up copies stay synchronized. Sidebar fields offer an alternative. Regions are fixed; arbitrary dragging is not supported.
3. Choose the physical paper size
- A4: 210 × 297 mm.
- A5: 148 × 210 mm.
- Letter: 8.5 × 11 in (215.9 × 279.4 mm).
- Half Letter: 5.5 × 8.5 in (139.7 × 215.9 mm).
Two-up A5 uses landscape A4: remove the 1 mm center strip. Two-up Half Letter uses landscape Letter: cut along the center line. Changing measurement units changes the display, not the physical spacing.
4. Print or save a PDF
Select Download PDF for a single-page file, or Print to use your printer. When printing, match the paper size, choose 100% or Actual size and turn off browser headers and footers. The app disables its print button when text overflows; shorten the text, remove line breaks or reduce the number of tabs. Your browser menu can still print directly, so inspect the preview first. Fonts and printer margins vary. Print one test sheet before printing a batch.
Cut flyer tabs by hand along the vertical dashed lines. Ordinary printers do not perforate paper. Writing grids retain their millimeter spacing; flyers scale proportionally to fit the selected paper. PDFs are generated locally at 300 dpi with the selected physical page size. Text is flattened to preserve the appearance of Chinese and other system fonts; it is not selectable. On iPhone, choose Save PDF. Once the file is ready, tap Save or share PDF, scroll down in the system share menu and choose Save to Files. You can also send it to another app or print it. If file sharing is unavailable, use the offered Open PDF link and your browser’s Share button; try Safari if your browser has no saving option.
Social links and QR codes
Flyers can include a QR code above the tear-off tabs. Enter a complete social profile or contact URL to generate a code locally, or upload an existing platform QR image, such as a WeChat contact code. Keep the white border and upload the code itself instead of a whole screenshot. Generated codes contain your link directly, with no Paperlilt redirect or tracking service. Existing platform codes may expire according to that platform. Print and scan a test copy, especially on smaller paper or with long links.
Choose a Modern, Bold or Classic flyer layout. Tear-off tabs use one freeform text field: combine a name and contact details, and use line breaks to arrange them. Choose 4–24 strips; dense text may require fewer strips. English templates start with an example email; Simplified Chinese templates use a placeholder phone number. Replace examples before printing. Your own contact details and QR data survive language changes and design backups.
Photos and design backups
Lost pet / item flyers require a photo; For sale flyers can optionally include one. JPEG, PNG and WebP files up to 8 MB are resized locally to a maximum edge of 1000 pixels. Designs save in the current browser. Clearing site data or changing browsers removes access to them. Use Save design to download a backup and Open design to restore it. Backups include your photo, so keep them private when necessary.
Template links
The selected template is reflected in the URL, for example ?template=cornell. Refreshing, switching languages and browser history keep the selected template. This link opens a template, not a copy of your private text or photos; use a design backup to transfer the complete design.
Languages and limitations
English is the default language, with Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese and Korean also available. Switching language updates untouched default text across all templates and keeps your edits. Handwriting grids are general practice aids, not certified regional or school standards. The current version does not promise every writing system, right-to-left layouts or professional print bleed.
