1. Choose a template

Start with one of 16 layouts across ruled paper, mixed notes, community flyers and everyday stationery. Adjust spacing on lined, graph and dot paper. Handwriting guides include English lines, Chinese cross and diagonal grids, and Pinyin with character boxes. Music & notes and Grid & notes let you change the section split.

2. Edit directly on the page

Click a title, contact detail or section heading to type in place. Enter finishes, Shift+Enter adds a line and Escape cancels the current edit. Repeated tabs and two-up copies stay synchronized. Sidebar fields offer an alternative. Regions are fixed; arbitrary dragging is not supported.

3. Choose the physical paper size

• A4: 210 × 297 mm.
• A5: 148 × 210 mm.
• Letter: 8.5 × 11 in (215.9 × 279.4 mm).
• Half Letter: 5.5 × 8.5 in (139.7 × 215.9 mm).

Two-up A5 uses landscape A4: remove the 1 mm center strip. Two-up Half Letter uses landscape Letter: cut along the center line. Changing measurement units changes the display, not the physical spacing.

4. Print or save a PDF

Select Download PDF for a single-page file, or Print to use your printer. When printing, match the paper size, choose 100% or Actual size and turn off browser headers and footers. The app disables its print button when text overflows; shorten the text or choose larger paper. Your browser menu can still print directly, so inspect the preview first. Fonts and printer margins vary. Print one test sheet before printing a batch.

Cut flyer tabs by hand along the vertical dashed lines. Ordinary printers do not perforate paper. Writing grids retain their millimeter spacing; flyers scale proportionally to fit the selected paper. PDFs are generated locally at 300 dpi with the selected physical page size. Text is flattened to preserve the appearance of Chinese and other system fonts; it is not selectable. On iPhone, use the share menu if the PDF opens instead of downloading.

Photos and design backups

Lost pet / item flyers require a photo; For sale flyers can optionally include one. JPEG, PNG and WebP files up to 8 MB are resized locally to a maximum edge of 1000 pixels. Designs save in the current browser. Clearing site data or changing browsers removes access to them. Use Save design to download a backup and Open design to restore it. Backups include your photo, so keep them private when necessary.

Languages and limitations

English is the default language. Switching language updates untouched default text across all templates and keeps your edits. Handwriting grids are general practice aids, not certified regional or school standards. The current version does not promise every writing system, right-to-left layouts or professional print bleed.
